THE CLAIMSMEN Leadership Academy provides structured, practical leadership development designed specifically for men serving the insurance profession. It is available exclusively to members of THE CLAIMSMEN.
The Academy is proudly hosted by the National Insurance Institute and draws on decades of experience developing leaders across the insurance industry.
The Leadership Academy is educational only. It does not award professional designations. Its purpose is to develop stronger leaders within THE CLAIMSMEN and throughout the insurance profession.

The Guide Program
Helping New Insurance Professionals Find Their Way
Beginning a career in the insurance industry can be both exciting and challenging. Whether you are entering claims, underwriting, adjusting, restoration, engineering, or another area of the profession, having someone in your corner can make all the difference.
THE CLAIMSMEN Guide Program connects newer professionals with experienced members who are committed to helping them build a successful and rewarding career. This is not a formal coaching or consulting relationship. It is a brotherhood connection built on shared experiences, encouragement, and a genuine desire to help the next generation succeed.
Available to New Professionals
Participation is optional but strongly encouraged for those looking to build confidence, expand their professional network, and accelerate their growth.
One-Year Commitment
Each participant is paired with an experienced CLAIMSMEN member for a one-year mentoring relationship. Whenever possible, Guides are matched based on career path, professional interests, geographic region, industry experience, and personal goals. The objective is to build meaningful relationships that extend well beyond the program.
Monthly Conversations
Brotherhood Beyond the Program
The Guide Program is designed to create lasting relationships, not simply complete a one-year commitment. Many participants continue seeking advice, sharing opportunities, attending events together, and supporting one another long after the formal mentoring period has ended.
Giving Back
As members gain experience and establish themselves within the profession, they are encouraged to become Guides for future participants. By investing in the next generation, every member has the opportunity to strengthen both THE CLAIMSMEN and the insurance profession.

Enrollment
Available Exclusively to Members
THE CLAIMSMEN Leadership Academy is open to all active members in good standing. Enrollment opens annually and cohorts are intentionally kept small to ensure a high-quality experience for every participant.

The Academy is exclusively available to active CLAIMSMEN members. If you are not yet a member, apply for membership first.
Watch for Enrollment
Enrollment announcements are sent to all members via the quarterly newsletter and member portal. Brotherhood Members receive early access.
Apply for Your Cohort
Submit a brief application indicating your goals and availability. Cohorts are small and fill quickly.
Begin the Program
Once accepted, you will be paired with your mentor and receive your cohort schedule, materials, and welcome packet.
